This project involved the full design and development of a bespoke advertising bike, combining functional urban transport with high-impact mobile advertising. The bike features a rear-mounted, illuminated advertising panel designed for maximum visibility, both day and night.
From initial concept sketches through to CAD modelling, renders, and physical prototyping, the project explored how sustainable mobility can merge with brand promotion. Integrated electronics were tested to ensure the reliable operation of brake lights, internal lighting for night-time advert clarity, and GPS connectivity for campaign tracking.
The final design prioritised safety, durability, and ease of use, while maintaining a sleek and modern aesthetic. Rigorous testing ensured that the advert system connected securely to the bike and remained clearly visible in a range of environments. This innovative solution offers a new way for businesses to advertise on the move—ideal for city-based promotions, events, and sustainable marketing strategies.
